Montego Party Time — Doom Machine

Jackie’s got her sunnies, Neil’s got SPF,
Flight from Miami, “No stress, no stress!”
Rum on the horizon, palm trees sway,
Two Brits touch down in Montego Bay.
Guidebook says “chill,” but Sis said “beware,”
“Keep hold your bag and mind who’s there!”
Oh we’re vibin’, but we’re watchin’ too,
Little side-eye with the ocean view,
Neil’s got moves like a Kingston king,
But he’s clutchin’ his wallet while he does his thing.
Yeah we’re groovin’ in the golden ray,
Stayin’ sharp in Montego Bay.
Neil hits the rhythm, starts steppin’ slick,
Locals say, “Blimey, that lad’s got kick!”
Jackie laughs, “Don’t wander far,”
“Dance all you like, but know where you are!”
Taxi man says, “I know a place…”
Jackie whispers, “Let’s just play it safe.”
Oh we’re vibin’, but we’re watchin’ too,
Smilin’ wide but we’re thinkin’ it through,
Rum punch strong and the music’s sway,
But we’re back in the hotel by end of day.
Yeah we’re livin’ the holiday way,
Smart and sound in Montego Bay.
Flip-flops off and the doors locked tight,
Dreamin’ of reggae through the warm night,
Two Brits laughin’, “We’ll be okay,”
Dancin’ careful in Montego Bay.
